Nebby Phoebe
No posts the last couple of days as they've been....ah.....'meltdown-ish'
On another note, I was just going to post this pic tonight and be done with it, but I just came across a quote online that really, really hits home with me.
A true friend walks in when the rest of the world walks out.
WOW!!!!! That's SOOOOOOOOO true!!! And don't I know it!!! Mr. X still BRAGS (like the obnoxious, immature ass that he is) that he went out of his was to make sure that every one of my family hates me. Wow!! That's an accomplishment to be REAL proud of. But then again, he should be proud each time he ties his own shoelaces and Mommy doesn't do it for him. Sure, people that I loved and HOPED that they loved me back showed their true colors after I left him. And that's fine with me. I am so glad that I don't have to have any part of their drama, lies, etc etc anymore. Especially with my mother. She and Mr. X being out of my life are two of the best things that have EVER happened to me!!!!! So, I guess when you think about it, Mr. X did me a HUGE favor in weeding out the drunks, liars, and abusers from my life.
Thanks, Mr. X!!!!
Now if he could just learn how to tie his own shoes! ROFL!!!
OH YEAH..................NOT MY PROBLEM ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WOOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

No pics from today....these are yesterday's that I forgot to post
Phoebe was helping me sew the tag on Emily's scarf before I packed it up and shipped it out yesterday.
I basically accomplished next to nothing today. I was knitting on the sweater yesterday and it's all screwed up. I'm just going to frog it and start totally over.....with the machine knitting it's not like it will take forever!! So it just sat today because I didn't want to get started on it before I went to Mass this evening. I shampooed the living room carpet and got some loads of clothes wash and dried. After Mass I stopped at HEB and picked up some spaghetti sauce and soy crumbles (read: fake meat) and cooked that up for dinner. I've still stuck with the "No Meat for Lent" thing.....but the alcohol thing has not stuck too well. I had one tonight and one last night (Bailey's Irish Cream, Vanilla Vodka, Vanilla Syrup, topped off with cream). It's almost freaky quiet in the house and I'm loving it, but I never feel as safe as I do when Jim is around. We could be in the middle of the Serengeti with wild beasts circling us. and I wouldn't be worried at all.He is everything that I've ever wanted in a many and million things more. He's so smart....WOW!!! It's so weird dealing with someone who can make a decision without his mommy holding his hand on each little thing!!!!! He's honest.....or at least tries to be. He has spent the last umpteen years lying to himself about everything and it's somewhat ingrained. But he has come leaps and bounds. I can't imagine my life without him. God blessed me more than I will ever deserve when he gave me this wonderful mad to be my husband. Sure, he's not perfect (porn addiction, no butt, can't spell to save his life....) but other than those things, he's about as perfect as a man can be!!!!!! I love him more than I ever thought I could love a man.............and I have so much respect for him.....that's the hugest thing. That's what killed my marriage with Mr. X....he a weasel who will DO ANYTHING to get over on someone. He doesn't have an honest bone in his body.....or a brain cell in his head either for that matter!!!! LOL!

Ribbing the back of the sweater
Jim and Richard flew out to San Diego so I'm working on the sweater. They should be landing any time now, so I'm waiting for Jim's call.
