First GrandBaby's First Knitted Project...(that was actually finished)

I started this a couple of weeks ago and have been picking at it sporadically mostly as therapy..LOL. It's been a hectic month....so hectic, I quit posting every day like I was.
Christopher has been here....then Sarah came to visit...she leaves next Wednesday....Richard got confirmed at the Easter Vigil (in a huge freak snow storm) and to top things off I got a TERRIBLE bladder infection the morning of his Confirmation. By the time the service was finishing up I was already in the car double over in pain crying my eyes out. Jim took us straight home, dropped Richard off and then straight to the ER. Macrodantin to the rescue!!!!!!

Anyway, here's the bib that I start for GrandBaby#1. I'm thrilled that it turned out OK....especially since I didn't have a pattern or anything...I just started knitting. I did 3 rows of seed stitch and then did the rest in garter stitch with 3 seed stitches on each side. It helped that this was a no-brainer that I could take with me and knit while I was hauling Christopher around or waiting on Richard. I bought a couple more skeins of pastel/baby-colored multi-colored cotton yarn. I don't know if I'm going to make another bib with it or just some burp rag type things. I'm just glad I finished it.....it feels really good to finish something!!!
Oh! And Jim finished putting the compressor in the van and now I have AC!!!! YEAH!!!!!!

This is actually a very soft/pastel mint green. Kinda like the green in the Andes Mints (Mmmmmm!!!!) I tried to get the color right but it turned into too much of a PITA.
